Best Home Treadmill I could have purchased, May 2, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Proform Power 1080 Treadmill (2012 Model) (Sports) I got this treadmill because it had the size motor I was looking for and was on a huge sale. Long story short, my wife and I love the functions and how well built this model is. I have gained a lot of weight during my wife's pregnancy, don't ask, and needed to loose weight. I could not buy a treadmill that had less than a 3.0 hp engine and when I saw this one I was sold. Now that we have been running on it for over a month and had not one complaint. I would gladly make the purchase again. The online features are great and it comes with a 3+ mile trail and a 5+ mile trail. You can purchase more from their website for a small amount. The screen is actually a built in android tablet with internet access.

Good treadmill, bear to move around and shipping issues., August 10, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Proform Power 1080 Treadmill (2012 Model) (Sports) I got the treadmill yesterday. Have two able bodied strong people move this if you need to move it anywhere. I had to get it into my basement and the stairs are not the easiest to manuever. Needless to say that the unit looked a little haggard at the end of its trek, and so did the walls.
My main issue was that the shipper contracted by Amazon said they would deliver the unit yesterday between 8a-12p. I called at 11a and they said that the shipment was next week. I told them that I had talked to the shipper Monday to make the plans and he said he could get it there Wednesday which was not good for me and that I could do Thursday. Meaning ALL THAT SAME WEEK. In the end they sent a truck out with it and the guy begrudgingly said, "I guess you wanted this today, huh" and I said yeah I paid over $1,300 for the thing I would like to be able to use it. THEN he said "you feeling strong? because I cant get this thing off the truck by myself it ways over 250lbs." I was... Read more

DO NOT BUY THIS TREADMILL!!!, April 3, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Proform Power 1080 Treadmill (2012 Model) (Sports) I bought this treadmill on Amazon a few weeks ago. Amazon held up their end, with quick delivery within 4 days. Put the treadmill together, turned it on and... nothing. No power to the console. After a two hour wait on the proform customer service line they tell me it's either an issue with the console(which is backordered and they have no clue when it will be in) or the wired connection from the motor to the console(which is going to take 7-10 days to get to me). Worst decision I have ever made... anyone in need of a 350lb paper weight?
